Family

This weekend, the 15th-17th of October,

the Mackay clan will be reunited at Ferry road!

Family is very important to me

Some people don't appreciate their families

and yeah, i understand you may have your differences
But honestly, how many families are you gonna have?

I'm sure every family has their 'signature' moments,

for ours it's camping, writing poems, making photo albums,

swimming in the sea, golfing tournaments (mafia), cups of tea,

scrabble, singing, ceilidh's, up north and many more things.

But most of all, the common interest we all share

is the love we have for one another.

To me - that's all that matters.

So, the quote:

"You can't choose your family but you can choose your friends"

From the family members who have always been there

to the people who we have been blessed to have join us,

this quote is irrelevant because if i had the opportunity

to choose my family it would stay the exact same.

In every conceivable manner,

family is the link to our past

and the bridge to our future.

If it's been too long,

If you miss someone,

If you know you've done wrong,

Or if you just need to let someone know you care:

Do it now, before it's too late.

Family is too important.
