Dream Come True

So here we are:
1 flight booked
2 months passed
5 vaccinations later
200 leaflets printed
£1800 closer to
Kigali, Rwanda.

It's flown past, luckily.
As i sat yesterday admiring the views on the
Golspie-Melrose route I was thinking
Just how kind people have been,
just how blessed I am to be given this opportunity
and just how much of a difference i could make.

Everyone has been so kind,
Someone said it's because they feel bad for
not doing something like this themselves,
I want everyone who has donated money to me
to know that I am doing this on behalf of them
and without their contribution It would not be possible.

Although you are not physically doing it,
remember it would not have happened if it wasn't for you.

The idea that i could go to Rwanda
has eventually turned into a reality!

In 72 days I will be in Kigali,
Living a very basic African life
with families suffering from HIV
with children who need an education
with children without parents because of Aids
and with people who genuinely need and want my help.

I hope I can make a difference
To tick one dream of my list...
